I have a USB mouse.
Starting from two weeks mouse has switched off during using a PC, then swithing on itself.
Currently mouse is switched off with information on PC that device connected via USB has a failure.
I tried to connect another USB mouse with the same score.
How to solve this problem? |

Have you tried different USB ports? Try it on the ones at the back, you could also try fitting a PCI USB card and see if the problem persists. |

How does it look when u go to hardware > System? Is all software installed for your hardware? normally ur pc should recognize any mouse unless you dont have basic software installed supplied with your hardware. Otherwise, I havent a clue

Yes, software is already installed.
I tried all of three USB ports with the same NOK score. |

Can you tell us what the failure popup said please?
You could try to remove all USB devices in Device Manager (under Universal Serial Bus Controllers) then rebooting. If that doesn't work, reinstall the Motherboard Chipset drivers again. If that still doesn't work, shut down your computer, and after it shuts down, turn it off at the wall and wait a few minutes. Turn it on again and see if that fixes it.
Good luck |

Root cause found: USB controller damaged.
Facts: power supply [5V] is various during laptop usage, if below 5V mouse is switching off. But the data transfer like from USB memory stick is fine.
Action plan: buy USB hub with external power supply |
